Opinions on my grad school essay, am I on the right track?

I have to answer 2 questions based on this statement:

(This is a quality that a teacher graduating from this school must possess)

Posses the skills and dispositions necessary to establish a classroom environment that stimulates critical thinking and inquiry

The 2 questions are:

How would you foster a classroom climate that would promote this standard? You might begin by reflecting on some of your experiences as student. Which things would you emulate and which things would you do differently to help create such a classroom climate.

and

In your life as a citizen, student and future teacher of this society, what experiences are reflective of this standard. Additionally, what experience in your life have conflicted with this standard?

I have answered these questions by telling what things I do in my classroom (I’m already teaching) to promote critical thinking and inquiry. I have used examples from my time as a student to show what I believe has and has not worked to foster that kind of environment.

This just doesn’t seem like a thorough enough answer. I think I have begun to over think the whole essay. Anyone have any suggestions for a more complete answer or does it sound like mine will cover what is being asked? Obviously my answers are longer and more thought than what I quickly stated in the above paragraph, I just summarized my answer to give you an idea of what my though process is.
