opportunities for pianists at penn?

so, I will be a science major and a varsity athlete at UPenn, so I doubt I will have much free time at all, but I would also like to continue my piano study/performance in some capacity. What groups or other opportunities on campus are not too, too time-consuming but would allow me to continue to play? I have a feeling that my time for practicing will be very inconsistent, so I don't want anything too serious where people are really depending on me.

Is there hope for me??

If you’re a jazz person there are some combos that you can join by audition, plus if you’re really good you’ve got the Penn Jazz Ensemble.

If you’re classical there’s the Orchestra and Wind Ensemble (one person makes it for each).

Should be a few more opportunities here at Penn.

Several of the theater and performing arts groups need musicians on an intermittent basis for musicals, performances, etc., if that’s something that might interest you.

Penn Chamber - it’ll give you a chance to play great rep with a group of similarly situated students (i.e., those with other commitments).

Pianoforte: I have read in other posts that you were the finalist for World Piano Competition. Could you tell me exactly which world piano competition you were referring to since my kids (only 14 yo now) may be interested in competing that type of competition. Thanks.
