<p>New here, so I apologize if this is in the wrong forum.</p>
<p>Is there a school in Louisiana with a good art program? I've been told (although my sources are incredibly biased) that LA Tech is alright. Out of state tuition is getting out of my range, or I'd consider schools in Texas.</p>
<p>I've been looking around some, and nothing really seems to stand out yet. Was just hoping maybe someone else had some input? Personal experience maybe?</p>

<p>If you are going to restrict yourself to the State of LA then I would take a long look at LSU:</p>

<p>LSU has a separate professional school for art that claims 500 students as art majors. That’s a very large program. I’ll bet they have some very good professors and it looks like they are building a new arts building. </p>
<p>I would start with LSU given your parameters. Let us know what you think after you do some research.</p>
