Opportunity to go visit colleges around Denver - suggestions?

I have an excuse to go visit Colorado in December, so I'm planning to fit a college visit or two in while I'm there. The only one I'm really planning on is UC-Boulder... not sure where else I should look.

Currently a junior in high school. 3.9 cumulative through my first two years, though I'll probably end up with closer to a 3.8 by the end of this year - AP Chem sucks. I took the PSAT last two years - no score yet for this year, but 2010 I believe I got around an 1800? Don't completely remember. I'm taking the SAT this spring.

Majors... I'd love to do something science related... Physics, or engineering. So far in AP Chem I've found I do really well when the topic we're learning about becomes more algebraic (when solving problems), and not quite as well when it strays from that. Anyways, I'd like to some sort of engineering major, and I know I want to do a Music Composition or Performance minor.

In terms of type of school... I want to go to a good school academically, but I also want to enjoy college while learning. So my ideal college wouldn't be completely academic focused, but also not just partying and messing around.

If that got a bit rambling, my bad - trying to do japanese at the same time.

Colorado School of Mines - don’t really know much about it except that it’s a well-respected engineering state school.

School of Mines, University of Denver, Colorado State University (Ft. Collins), and University of Colorado (Boulder).
