Option to have decision emailed or mailed

I checked my common app and I saw that I didn't indicate anything on the question asking me whether I wanted my decision emailed to me....I don't see how that was possible since common app doesn't let you submit unless you've filled in and checked every question...and I know for sure I checked multiple times to see I filled in everything (and I did of course...)

I'm so confused...how can it show blank when I submitted the supplement?!

Was I automatically rejected or I am still going to get something in my mailbox today...? or email? AHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I couldn’t even find that section of the commonapp, but so far, still no email/mail from them. It might just be taking a really long time for them to send 30,000+ emails. Some people were suggesting that the time you receive the notice depends on what letter of the alphabet your email starts with (ie, A’s get their emails first and Z’s get them last).

^apparently 5% of the emails bounce, fwiw

If you can’t wait for the mail, go to the admitted students website ([Harvard College Admissions § Application Status Login](http://collegeadmissions.fas.harvard.edu/admitted/login.cgi)) and try to log in. Use the same pin number you received to check the status of you application materials. If the site lets you in, you know a fat envelope is on the way!
