optional essay :)

<p>hey what are you guys doing about the optional essay? I'm making a collage with all of my creations kind of merged and all my hobbies represented, then i'm gonna explain it on another sheet... is that okay? or does it have to be like a picture or something more normal?</p>

<p>and my EC told me that I should mention that i am poor/family situation... should I put that in the additional info section? and how should i mention it?</p>

<p>And I'm pretty sure the collage is fine. MIT is definitely one of the most lenient and liberal schools as far as admission goes. They really love seeing YOU even if you depart from the norm in filling out the application.</p>
