My school is supposed to submit two teacher recommendation and an optional recommendation on my behalf.
I logged into Penn account today and it shows they received teacher rec 1&2, but the optional rec doesn’t show up. Is this normal?
Yes, it’s normal–the optional won’t show up.
@connections How do you submit that optional recommendation then?
@thehab1193, There’s an option to do so in the application. Just as a heads up, the optional letter of rec is not supposed to be academic–it’s supposed to be different from the other two, eg coach, boss, internship advisor.
