order of turning in college apps?

does when you turn in your apps affect your acceptance?
like is it easier to get into a school (even slightly) if you apply in november (RD) opposed to the end of december (RD)?
do admissions officers evaluate applications in the order they are received or the order they are processed or just randomly?

bump.
please help!

For schools with rolling apps, yes it makes a difference.

For schools with deadlines, no it doesn’t. I don’t have any personal knowledge, but it seems practical that they would evaluate completed packets as they come in. But being early or later doesn’t affect acceptance decision. I’m sure after a first run through all applications they have various piles of ‘sure admits’, ‘possible admits’, ‘definite denials’, etc.

Any impact outside of rolling admissions is negligible or nonexistent so long as your applications are not late.
