So I'm trying to order my books for my mac2311 class but on "mytextbooks" the titles are cut off and the editon numbers aren't on there. When I went to advance order my books the bookstore came up with 10 different books but most of them have similar titles to the books on mytextbooks but none of them have the same ISBN ( is that normal?). There are like 2 required books and 2 recommended books on mytextbooks for the class, but I can't really figure out which books are the rights ones I'm supposed to get. Is their anyone that might be able to help me or has already ordered the books for this class?

better yet, [Chegg.com - Cheap Textbook Rentals. Search for Used Textbooks and Rent College Textbooks at Chegg.com.](http://www.chegg.com/)

buying books is overrated except when there is a cd involved.

Yeah, two of them require a CD. Thanks for the link, I found a couple for my other classes. If I order the wrong textbook I can bring it back right??

from chegg?
i think they have like a no questions asked return policy so i dont think that’d be an issue. the ISBN should prevent that though. if it has a different ISBN, dont get it.

Wait, so what if the ISBN doesn’t match on the school bookstore page either, but it comes up in corresondence with the schedule? Should I not get them? Some of them have similar titles, but I’m not sure if its right or not, because mytextbooks abrev. the title and doesn’t list edition numbers sometimes. It’s mainly just for my calculus class all the other classes I found my books with no problem, I typed in the ISBN in Chegg but it wasn’t found. Oh if it’s an online class does it matter if the book is used or not? Someone said something about an online code I’d need.

i think it varies by code. i avoid online classes like the plague just because i couldn’t manage them in high school, so i have no idea.

as for the ISBN, i would personally call the bookstore and ask. other might have a definative answer, however. the editions are extremely similar, so if the exact book isn’t there, you’re probably going to end up with a different version. i’d google the number and see if its available at all; it could be a typo. and chegg simply doesn’t have certain books.
the ‘textbook’ for sls1101’s ISBN doesn’t exist either. i think its a common problem,

I’m running into the same conflicts with 2311 and a few other courses so I’m just going to wait until the first week of classes to order books.

Renting books is ■■■■■■■■ imo. It’s usually more expensive than most of the used ones, you can’t sell them back to recoup any of the cost, and you have to send them back. Where are the benefits?

Under the “Choose” section in “advanced orders” it has an option for Bndl: Early Transcendentals. does anyone know if that would be all the needed materials for Mac2311 even though it isn’t under the required tab? Possibly an alternate. im not sure which to get. if this isnt enough info just message and i can elaborate.
