Organic Chemistry or Calculus III?

I'm currently going into my sophomore year as an undergraduate, and I'm currently undecided on my major, but I would like to do something in engineering, while also completing the pre-med requirements just in case I decide to go down that route. My school doesn't have an engineering department (I plan on transferring), so the advisors unfortunately aren't of much help. The problem is, I would like to take both Calculus III and Organic Chemistry I, but my school only offers one class of each subject this semester, and they're at the same time. They do offer Calculus III in the Spring but from what I heard there's only one decent Calculus III teacher and he's teaching it now in the fall. Organic Chemistry I isn't available in the spring. Which class would be better to take now? Thanks in advance.

If there is an OChem II class offered in the spring, take I and II back to back. If not, you’re better off knocking out the engineering math sequence first.

My D is a freshmen in engineering (but in sophomore standing already) and she is taking Organic Chemistry and Calc3 the first semester. You probably want to check the transfer requirement of the engineering school you are looking at to decide. Different engineering major may have different requirements too. It sounds like you can take both in 2 different semester just you may not have the same decent teacher for Calc3. Besides the instructor, does your school has GA/TA to tutor Calc3? My D has already complained about the strong accent of the Calc3 instructor that she could not understand his English at all. She would be likely relying on her own and other resources.
Also, da6onet has a good point. You may want to continue with Org Chem 2 next semester if it is available and not conflict with the Calc3. It may even continue to use the same textbook and save you some money. If you take that after transferred to another school, the syllabus may not be the same and you may need a different text book too.
