So I will be a senior in high school this fall. I have enrolled to take a class at a local college (better than community college) and can't decide whether to take organic chem (I got a 5 on the AP chem test) or Calc III. I will have 5 classes in my high school, am planning on applying to 16 colleges, and have various piano competitions throughout the semester. Will organic chem be too much to handle? Would either seem more impressive? thanks =)

What do you want to major in?

both are impressive but I would say go with whatever you're interested in. Colleges like to see commitment

Organic chemistry is generally considered to be harder than Calculus III which is known to be easier than AP Calculus BC (most Calc III classes do not teach harder topics like Stokes' Theorem).
I suggest that if you are majoring in a life science or chemistry, take Organic Chemistry. If you are majoring in math or physics, or even economics, take Calculus III.

Also, check to see that the college class you take can be transferred to your possible future colleges. Would suck to go through all that only to find out that you can't transfer all the credits.
