Organizing Notes/Binders in University

I start university in a few weeks, and I'm not sure how to organize myself. Should I just use a little notebook for each class, or a binder? Alot of my friends organize their classes into 2 binders for MWF classes and TR classes, but I only have 1 tut on tuesdays and thursdays free so that wouldn't make much sense for me. I was thinking of just using 5 star flex binders for each class, what do you guys use?

One word, laptop.

I’m not sure what your university policy is over there on computers in class, and how applicable it will be for your subjects, but I know for me throughout the teaching semester my laptop is my best friend I do everything on it.

To ensure that when it comes to exam time my handwriting is still legible, I do all exam preparation/practice exams on paper to get a feel for it, but other than that laptop.

I typically use my laptop for large lecture-based classes that are notes-intensive, and a notebook for each class that is small or discussion-based (particularly English classes, language classes, etc.). Some professors won’t allow laptops in their classes, so that’s always a big thing.
