<p>Besides the goofy title, since orientation is coming up, I suggest 2012ers might like to pair up with another CCer. I have been assigned escort duty for orientation (all 3) and I’m sure that other CCers on here will escort too.</p>
<p>While I suggest going with a current 4 dig first to see 4 dig post-recognition life, I would love to host anyone for orientation. I’m sure others will follow on and volunteer as well. If there is anyone you want to stay with, post here or send a PM!</p>

It really does help to know that (after hearing about how brutal the first few months are....). My D isn't going to be able to attend the orientation so we'll miss out on the CC extravaganzas, but we can't wait to meet you all at Parents' Weekend :)</p>

<p>By signing up, all you are saying is that you will be at Clune to grab someone out of the line as they go through (remember that part? :) ) All you will do is go down and just grab your person out of the line as they come.</p>

<p>there's an eaiser way to do it if you guys want (i did last year for a kid from my roomates high school).</p>
<p>appointees: figure out who you want to stay with, and make sure they're okay with it.</p>
<p>cadets: talk to your firstie in charge of getting escorts. they should have the contact of a person. you send your name and the person who want to escort and which period.</p>
<p>Day of: after getting bags, instead of going through the line where random ppl grab you, go to the special table for ppl with assigned escorts. that way you're guaranteed to get the person you want, and its less waiting.</p>
<p>You know, having a random escort in hindsight might honestly be the best. DO NOT have hornet! haha ;)</p>
