Orientation, What do I bring?

Ok, so I know there’s probably a post here somewhere, but I really can’t find it. I looked all over the BU website and on the net and couldn’t find the answer. What do I bring to orientation… I’m going to the July 9th - 11th session, and I want to know what to bring… Is there anything other than clothes/personal hygene stuff that I need to bring.? Ppl told me to bring a fan… but i dont think i’m going to… Reallly confused.

just bring exactly what you said, clothes and toiletries and stuff. you really don't need anything else. they provide sheets and towels, but you can always bring your own if you want. they basically provide everything except if you go on the city excursion that wednesday night you buy your own dinner. that's what i did. and the dorms are really hot but i guess you get used to it. you're only in your dorm room for bed time anyway. hope this helped

shower sandals and a small fan. believe me it's hot

definitely.bring.a.fan

well i didn't bring a fan but i stuck it out. then again i live in miami so i guess i'm used to it lol.

Hey, my mom and sis are coming to boston too, however they arn't signed up for the parent orientation. They have to visit some family or something.. But they wanted to know if they could look around the university ect. on the day they drop me off (during the common ground thing, not the real orientation i guess.)

they can pretty much look around as much as they like but i don't think they'll be able to be involved in the parent activities.
