Orientation

We just had our orientation this past week, and I want to commend Clemson for putting on a first rate experience. We felt it was well organized and there were so many helpful people there that all our questions were answered. Everyone was smiling, happy and so excited to have us there. Parking was no problem, shuttle busses were always ready to take us where we needed to be. Food was good, atmosphere was awesome. My son is all set up with his schedule, we attended sessions that were of interest to us, and they made us feel like we were part of the Clemson Family. I immediately signed up for Family Weekend, if my son wants to join me that's fine, but I'm going to all the activities they have offered.
Thanks, Clemson!

Glad you had a good experience! Look forward to seeing your son on campus in the fall!

Just curious. Can you tell us more about some of the events? We are headed down in July and would love a preview.

Pretty general but a schedule is located on page 20-21 of this book: [Clemson University 2013 Freshman Orientation](http://www.clemson.edu/accepted-students/orientation/books/freshman/)

D and I have returned from orientation, which was indeed very welcoming and well organized and well run.

One tip for major advising on the afternoon of day 1: bring a tablet or laptop or iPad for reg prep with iRoar, as a mobile phone renders the pages of course sections and their number codes, enrollment, times, and such rather small and hard on the eyes.

My wife and DS are in Clemson today/tomorrow for orientation…wish I was.
