when is a good day to fly there and where is a good place for parents to stay before moving in?</p>
<p>Plenty of hotels in Evanston- Hilton Garden Inn is probably cheaper than Hotel Orrington- but I'm guessing they're mad booked for NSW by now. You can always stay in Skokie and rent a car, which isn't bad at all. And you should plan to arrive the day before move-in most likely, so you have time to get your stuff organized-- any earlier doesn't make sense, since you can't move in, and any later means you're missing stuff.</p>

<p>Classes do not start the 15th- you're required to move in then. Get there on the 15th.</p>
<p>I recommend getting to the Chicago area the day before orientation starts, in case you want to check out the area with your parents/buy things for your room, since once Wildcat Welcome starts you'll be busy constantly. </p>
<p>You'll register Friday of Wildcat Welcome.</p>
