I am thinking about taking the path to becoming an orthodontist..

I'm not overly concerned about pay, I just want to find a career that pays well and that I enjoy.
I really don't have many specific interests so that's why I figured why not start by checking out careers that are top paying.

Orthodontics sounds almost too good to be true..
The salary is so high and many orthodontist's only work four day work weeks.. am i missing something?

I wonder if it's something I would enjoy...
How do I know if I am passionate about working with teeth (it's not something most people are passionate about lol)?
Were you all passionate about your careers before you started study, or did you become more passionate once you began study on that specific career?

I enjoy keeping my own teeth clean and straight, however, would not be interested in being a dentist since they have to often perform surgeries. That's why I figured orthodontics would be a good fit..

I'm a very organized person and have great social skills. And I guess you can say I am more of a Math person.

I have heard that dentistry/orthodontics is extremely competitive.. Does that mean that job opportunities are slim?

Provide me with some insight??
