I have tried to keep open-mind how people dress to a party. This was from the Oscar after party.

My first reaction seeing the last photo was “someone needs to show her how to wear a mask”.

I think these women look fierce, including Hunter Schafer, who is a trans woman. Might not be typical styles we would see in our localities, but wearing forward fashion is expected in Hollywood.

I read an article saying that some people claimed that Ciara got more backlash from her dress than the other celebrities pictured above because she is black.

I’m sure it’s true that it was claimed, but I don’t think the claim itself is valid. Plenty of white women were criticized for their dress choices.

And this year was hardly the first year for the barely there look. Lest we forget from 35 years ago:
