<p>“Opponents argue drawing away students will bring blight, lower property values and crime to surrounding residential neighborhoods”.</p>

<p>This is not a valid reason to stop the new policy direction of the tOSU. It is simply a scare tactic by the slumlords that know their days of easy money are slipping away. I hope what they say happens because it will speed up the next logical steps which would otherwise be difficult. In fact, tOSU may be hoping for temporary “lower property values”.</p>
