I have been accepted to the following schools for the following majors.
GTECH - Comp Sci (32k)
UMD - Comp Sci (24k)
OSU - Comp Sci and Engineering (24k)
I have honors at OSU and UMD, not at GT though.
Which one is the best option in terms of major? OSU’s major is in the CoE and so I thought it would carry more weight. Ive visited all and OSU’s campus seemed best to me. GTECH’s campus seemed dull.
Btw, after student loans, the prices would be 25k for GT, 17.5k for OSU, and 19.5k for UMD.

Who is going to pay the difference between your costs at UMD or OSU and GT?
If your family can cover that difference without any loans, and the prefer GT for you, then that is their call. If they can’t, then kick GT to the curb and choose between UMD and OSU.
They’re all great programs, what you should also consider is what you’re looking for in the school other than academics. I’d say GA Tech is #1, followed by UMD, then OSU for program strength; however they are all great and if you prefer one school greatly to another, I would choose that one.
Im looking at OSU and UMD as well, I’m only a Junior however. I’m curious, what was your GPA UW and ACT that netted you those total costs?
