Mannigham is the key. If he scores, we win. If he doesn't, we lose. Henne is as good as Smith when Mannigham is on. The last two games he's been in for ornamental purposes only.

Also, I hope Michigan can sack Smith a couple of times early (and, hopefully, intercept him). This will set the tone for the game.

on my buddy list so many MSU and PSU people are like "***k Michigan, Go OSU!" It is seriously sad that people have to be so bitter that we are just good at everything.

Well, the paramutual window is closed, but my prediction before the game seems to be unfolding ... OSU by 2+ TDs... Too much Smith + Ginn for UM.

I'm not surprised by MSU fans' reaction; it's very bitter ... I am by PSU, though. Penn State's still a Big 10 youngster with no real ax to grind w/ UM, so what's all that about?

Michigan had 2 clear huge chances amongst many others...first one was that throw that was overthrown by Henne to Manningham when he was clear. And then that FREAKIN personal foul or w/e that ended up with an OSU touchdown!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 losses in a row vs OSU.....when will the time come?

The one thing I will say is that this is exactly the kind of game that would pit us against them again in the championship. Seriously, with a little help from USC, Florida, Arksansas, and Notre Dame, we could be right back in this thing.

When you consider Bo and the fact that the game was AT COLUMBUS, we're clearly the best 1 loss team. If we get them on neutral ground, they're ours!

i'm not making excuses for why we lost so much as I'm making a case for why we're the best 1-loss team and deserve another chance.

By the way, homefield advantage is a BIG deal. It's generally acknowledged that if you can play someone to a fieldgoal on their own turf, you can beat them on neutral ground.

Why do you think they always play the Superbowl in a neutral location?

Shanghaimom,
We had our tailgate party at 4:30AM to watch the game LIVE. More than 50 alum showed up. We had a great time.

Sounds like fun and a much better experience than we had. The tape of the game stopped with 4 minutes to go. I can't believe the restaurant owner didn't check it ahead of time. You can imagine the uproar!

OMG, you missed our last drive, two point conversion and the onside kick? We were all standing and cheering towards the end. Great game.

We pulled the game from the internet (like ESPN). The quality was surprisingly good. All you need is a fast connection and good sound system ... and lots of alumni of course. You should try that next time.

If Notre Dame ends up beating USC and playing for the national championship, that would be unfair. However, if USC wins out, they deserve a shot. Michigan may still be better, but at least there is a good argument they should be there. That argument is pretty weak with Notre Dame, since we made them look foolish in their own back yard.
