Huge game! What are your predictions? Will you be at the game or where will you watch? Tailgating tidbits welcomed!

At the game and tailgating at the golf course.

I will be getting smacked in the face by pom poms in a row way further back than a sr. should be because Dave Brandon hates fun and puppies

Probably at home watching on the tube.

Getting off work at 4 and heading over to the stadium sometime soon after that. Actually got scheduled to work during it but finally tonight found someone to cover most of my shift, phew. Though I was kind of looking forward to the absurd amount of cash I could have sold the ticket for. Oh well, the game is priceless.

Should be a close one, hopefully it’s more exciting overall than the 2011 affair. What I mean by that is, let’s face it, the Wolverines played like a high school JV team for the first three quarters. Even from a nonbiased standpoint, I think UMich has got to be the slim favorites here. It’ll be fun!

A group of Michigan alums are getting together to watch the game in Dubai. Given the local time at kick-off(4:00 AM), we will likely be a handful only.

4 am - wow; I know you couldn’t miss it but ill still give you credit - that is tough.

Score predictions all? I’ll say good guys 20, bad guys 17. Gibbons may be the difference.

The Big10 Network broadcasted a replay of the UM/ND game last night. I forgot how exciting the last 1:20 minutes of that game were. It never gets old watching the Irish lose particularly despite all the favorable (questionable) calls they got during the game. This coming from a diehard Iowa Hawkeye fan.

PS My boy is in the College of Engineering at Michigan so for 51 Saturdays a year I am a Wolverine convert

At home in the family room, just me and the dogs, with DW grousing in the next room about it being college football season again.

Michigan 23, ND 17. Game turns on turnovers, the kicking game, a big return by Dennis Norfleet, and superior play by Devin Gardner passing and scrambling out of the pocket.

Alexandre, I admire your dedication. You deserve a medal.

I have to be at a dinner with freinds my wife scheduled… I hope we pound ND!

Ifput the football schedule in my wife’s calendar as soon as she gets it so there are no conflicts.

ThisIsMichigan, I’ll be right there with you getting smacked in the face with pompoms and getting elbowed by drunken fans. Go blue!

I couldn’t afford tickets this year (not this game and not season lol). So I’ll be watching at a bar in Plymouth with my fiance and 2 roommates. Three of us are MSU fans primarily, I cheer for blue, and another roommate is an OSU fan. One thing we all agree on “**** Notre Dame”. Though I think I have the most intense hatred for them out of the group.

I have no predictions, I just want to embarrass them…

Probably will never forgive myself for notbuying tickets(too poor) instead watched it in the union. But geat win by a nice margin against a good team and quarterback

Two things. Michigan outcoached ND. And the best athlete on the field was Devin Gardner. This could be the start of something special.

“I will be getting smacked in the face by pom poms in a row way further back than a sr. should be because Dave Brandon hates fun and puppies”

David Brandon also hates students who aren’t passionate enough to show up early.

While the sample size is limited, general admissions has been the best move of Brandon’s stint as AD so far. The student section actually looked good on TV for the opener…compared to last year’s opener vs AF.

"…general admissions has been the best move of Brandon’s stint as AD so far."

Come one bearcats. I should think that hiring Hoke was Brandon’s best move as AD so far. Nothing comes close really.

General Admission has nothing to do with rewarding motivated students with betters seats. It is designed to allow DB to adjust the size of the student section on a game per game basis based on the estimated number of no-shows. They are definitely overselling tickets.

Did anyone notice how much larger the student section was for UTL than it was for CMU?

Are there any data available comparing the number of student season tickets sold for this seasson (2013) versus last season (2012). I know my son (junior) didn’t buy season tickets for this year because of the “first-come first served” seating arrangment.

Does anyone know if there are any mechanisms in place to keep groups of students (i.e frat boys) from arriving early and “saving” blocks of seat for their later arriving brothers

I haven’t been to a Michigan game, but MSU has been general admission since I started going. The way it works there is that you file in and you go down to the end of the row. Security is there guiding you in to make sure that you keep moving down and therefore no saved seats.

Don’t know how they’re doing it at Michigan though.
