Other aspects besides academics

what are the dorms like? nice compared to others? be specific

is the school food good?

what do people do there for fun?

any clear characteristic or truth about the school? (for example a response might be, all the asian kids and black kids hang out with their own race)

The dorms are...well, they're dorms. The first year dorms are fairly standard, decently sized, lots of closet space, but nothing special. Turck just got renovated last year, so its a little bit nicer than the other two. After that, there are a lot more options (including language houses, apartments, cottages, houses, etc), all of which are decently nice

The food is really good...for college food. Theres a lot of variety, and a lot of vegetarian options.

For fun...anything and everything. The twin cities are both really accessible, and there are over 80 student orgs on campus most of whom sponsor weeekend events. Lots of films, discussions, dances, movies...

I hate to generalize...I would say that most people here are fairly politically and socially conscious, and that most people really are here to make a lot out of their education
