<p>USABO and USNCO seem to be the frontrunners in terms of bio and chem competitions, but I'm wondering if anyone could suggest some other, lesser-known competitions that are also prestigious. I'm specifically interested in biochemistry and molecular biology.</p>

<p>Other than regional/state competitions, I do not think there are really any other national level chemistry or biology competitions like USNCO or USABO. Perhaps you could do some Science Olympiad events in those fields, but sadly at the high school level there aren’t as many science competitions as there are math competitions. Is there something about USABO and USNCO that you don’t like that makes you ask about other competitions?</p>
