Other Colleges I should look at?

I am currently applying to Georgetown, NYU, Columbia, and Cornell as a junior transfer. Knowing my stats below what other schools would you suggest I look at that I have a good shot of getting in???

3.75 at UCSB in a double major of Business Economics with emphasis in Accounting and Political Science.

Applying for Political Science or Goverment when transferring
-Internships with Deloitte, Wells Fargo and Wachovia.
-Researcher for a NSF 5 year project emphasized on the internets impact of social movements and political protests.

Head of University Misconduct in the Office of the Student Advocate. Those not familiar with this department, it helps students defend their cases when charged with violations i.e. cheating. It also helps mediate any situation that a student may have encountered with authorities at UCSB.
-Part of a Political Science research team focused on the impacts of Facebook when it comes to political knowledge v political participation.
-There are plenty of other things I have done, but these are the main ones.

My high school GPA is a weighted 4.0 while taking 6 AP classes. My SAT is a 1980 (Math 720 Writing 680 Reading 580), SAT II BIO 790 and SAT II MATH 720. My ACT score is a 30.

Also, I am looking to take my next two quarters off to go for a self-discovery experience. I am going to be in a Global Peace Corps program known as Buddhist Immersion. Here I will be teaching English to children and monks who wish to become multilingual lectures across the globe. I will also be attending many mediation retreats and living in the monastery.

You’re a strong applicant for all of those. I’d say you have really really high chance at all of them. Consider applying to Ivy leagues and maybe Stanford/ Duke as you will most likely be considered a non traditional student since you’re taking time off to pursue another passion which would be strong for near Ivy-league schools.

However for Political/ Government, I’d recommend Georgetown as it has probably the best program and with it’s proximity to all the government buildings in the District of Columbia, you would really have some great opportunities in the near future.

Thank you! I heard elsewhere that the buddhist thing was a redflag for adcoms and I should not really talk about that… what do you think?

Also, anyone else with suggestions please let me know

bump anyone?
