<p>What are some good summer study abroad programs that don’t cost a fortune?</p>
<p>I don’t know what constitutes a fortune but my son did a seven week travel study in Portugal last summer. It was through UC Berkeley but other UC’s like Santa Barbara and Davis offer travel studies too. I think it cost us around $7000.00 and he recieved 6 semester units. He really got a lot out of it as he is majoring in Spanish and Portuguese. There are lots of choices of places to go also.</p>
