<p>So I've seen alot of talk about CAP21 at nyu but i was wondering if someone could tell me the good, the bad, etc of the other studios at tisch.</p>
<p>The only studio with which I'm familiar is Stella Adler. It's a rigorous, very professional program that has some spectacular teachers. They turn out very polished actors who speak well, can handle a variety of styles, and shine in all mediums. If you're a musical person, it might not be the place for you. But there's a school of thought that thinks actors ought to prepare to act, primarily, and take singing lessons on the side -- and that the ability to deliver lines and inhabit a character is what separates the chorus from the leading men and ladies.</p>
