Other textbooks

Do you think it would be useful to have other textbooks to use as a second reference during the semester?

I was getting ready to sell my calculus, chemistry, and English books that I used from college the past two years and I started to wonder if it would be convenient to have them at USNA in case I needed another explanation of material. I really liked my chemistry book here (which is the same as used at USAFA). My calculus book can be confusing sometimes, but I've gotten used to it and understand how it is all laid out. I used my Mid escort's book to do some homework at CVW and it pretty well confused me.

I don't need the money from selling them, but if I don't need them, I don't want to keep them around. So would it be useful to have these books brought to me during PPW to use during the Ac Year?

My son and daughter (both mids) have used their high school materials that they know well to help them with their studies this year. I think if you are confortable about the books and material it would not hurt to keep them just in case. You can alwasy have your parents mail them to you when you need them during the academic year.

It couldn't hurt to have your old text books. Better to have them and not need them than the other way around.

Doubtful you'll be using them as reference. If you can get any decent $$$ for them, dump 'm.
