What textbooks are used for the core? I want to buy them early/international edition to save money lol :)

Assuming that nothing has changed since last year:

Chem 21: University Chemistry (Laird)
Math 11: None
Math 12: Linear Algebra (Poole)
Phys 23: QED by Feynman and two books by profs here (Helliwell and Townsend). The physics department sells cheap paper copies of the latter two. Townsend’s seems to be on the market (Helliwell’s should be soon), but I’m not sure if it’s the same text exactly, and buying from the department would probably be cheapest.
Hum 1: Depends on what you’re taking
CS: I think neither 5 nor 42/65 use a text, but I’m not positive about 5.

CS 5 Does not have a text. Everything is online :)

What about later classes? I’m a prospective Chemistry major, so I’m really interested in knowing what books are used for Physchem Organic etc. I own a vast collection already :D

Woo and I’m so buying books in Singapore.

Since you are probably going back home sometime before your sophomore year, you best wait until then to buy sophomore texts in case either your plans change or the courses themselves change textbooks.
