In my junior year, I took a course at a community college called Health Sciences:Exploring Health Issues and I’m not sure if it should go in my A-G courses or in this non A-G section. Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction?
If the class was taken at a CA CC, you check here if it is an A-G course by typing in the name if the College.

Most likely a non a-g from the title.
The course name sounds like a non uc transferable course. With the exception of math courses in algebra and up, only uc transferable CCC courses can be A-G.
