My DD visited and loved the beautiful campus, the town, and the people she met while she was there. She is interested in the Scripps school which seems to have a good reputation. But the visit was during the summer when there were few students around so it was hard to get a true picture. Whenever you hear about Ohio U, you hear "party school". Just how crazy is it? And how hard is it for an out of stater to make friends when most of the students are from Ohio? She is a relatively quiet kid but does just fine once she feels comfortable.

She should visit when school is in session. Apply and once she’s in and you know the final cost of her choices, visit again. We are from Virginia (near DC) and think it’s well worth it being out-of-state. And Yes! It’s a fun school! I wouldn’t want it any other way. DS studies hard (in part) because he loves being there. Go BobCats!!
