I got straight A's in my freshman and sophomore years, but then I messed up my junior year with Bs in my honors and APs courses! I took 2 APs and 3 Honors, and I received Bs in all of them in first and second semesters. I took three laid-back courses and got As in them. I really really want to go to Princeton, but my dreams and hopes got crashed by my poor grades. Is still there a chance for me?

oo yeah ouch! but yaknow, I have a friend who got into princeton and her stats weren't that great either. but she had extremely opinionated/intellectual views on current events and such. if you happen to have a strong personality/other factors, maybe you could get in :D besides, most of the app process really depends on luck - who reads your app, whose they read before yours, time of day, etc.
on the other hand... that is a whole bunch of Bs and not really that many AP courses. but maybe if you did well on the AP tests, that would show you really learned the material and perhaps it was just a difficult class.

bring
up
my
post

Nope--no chance.

So what should I do now?

Okay, what if I score 600s on SAT I sections and SAT II and have a GC explain my transference to a different school in his letter of recommendation? Will I still have a chance?

Why are you trying to transfer to a new school...? I don't quite understand.
Are you considering 600s on SAT sections GOOD for Princeton?!

No, I ALREADY moved to a new location because of my father's job.

what are you getting at?

you are a "special case" man... i would love to meet you... you seem pretty cool. aren't you half deaf? i read that in your thread... i think.

you can't juudge yourself with everyone. just apply. it's better to get a B in an AP than an A in a normal course.

Okay...thanks, amnesia.
