Accepted. Great news. But wait, dammit...what is this? I actually have to try this semester?

I currently have a B-average for this semester--down from my perfect 4.0 for the last 7 semesters. I'm just trying to enjoy my last semester of senior year. Do you think Princeton minds? I might even get a C in my AP Physics class, is this a problem?

I'm just asking how low I can go before they kick me out.

I don’t think it matters. According to what I have heard, there is no limit. As long as you maintain that B average (and I even heard one C is alright from a college counselor) it should be fine. Lucky you! I’ve been waitlisted =(

I doubt a C will be enough for them to take back their acceptance but it might definitely warrant a phone call from the admissions.

I had a friend who went to Yale ED (which I realize isn’t the same at all as Princeton) and she got a couple B’s in AP Chem and Calc. She had letters from Yale and a phone call asking her for an explanation. Considering the 7 percent acceptance rate this year, I think you should be on the safe side and pull them up.
