Our fair city

How do people who currently attend BC or Tufts or BU or any other Boston area school feel about Boston’s opportunities?

I’ve visited Boston many dozens of times (I live in Maine), so I know how great the social/night life is, and what a great entertainment scene the city is, but as far as internships and exciting job opportunities go, how does it compare to, say, NYC or Washington DC?

c'mon, the rowing thread's gotten more response by now!

freakin sick baaby yaaa!!!!!!!!!!!! greatest city in the world! NYC is dump compared to beantown and DC is way too political..if you know what i mean. I see the skyline on a daily basis and i still get the butterflies everytime is see it!

If by nightlife, you mean everything is closed at 2am, then yeah. I'm not from the Boston area but I've been here the past four years to objectively say that the nightlife here sucks.

Well like I said, I want to know about internships and job opportunities, rather than the social scene.

BC is very connected in the Boston area. If you go here, you have an instant network especially in the political and business scene in Boston/New England.
