Out of options to pay tuition. Any ideas?

Ok I owe about $4000 to my school's financial aid department for summer session because I dropped below 6 units after I withdrew from a class due to stress related health concerns. I've already talked to them and they will not give me any type of aid for it nor will they disperse any of my fall aid until this is paid off. I applied for several private loans with cosigners and was denied every time. Putting it on a credit card seems to be my last and only option unless someone else has a bright idea...

You could take a leave of absence and work for the term…

If you do put the 4k on the credit card, how do you plan on paying it off? Do you have any friends or relatives who could help you?

LOL leave of absences tend to turn into never going back and I only have this year left.

My dad said that he would help by giving 500 a month until it was paid off.

A leave of absence will only turn into “never going back” if you let that happen. If you can’t afford to enroll for the fall, you can’t enroll for the fall. Period. It won’t be the end of the world.

Since you had to drop a class for “stress related health concerns” it might be a good idea for you to take the semester off anyway, and get your health on track.
