<p>know there are a lot of these posts but i am getting very anxious. I've visited the campus once. I want to major in Bio. I wanted to know If I have a good chance of getting in. Also, I am certain I am applying to medical school, any advice or comments of the pre-med program. I also have a relative that works in the med school admissions at stanford, and have family in the surrounding Palo Alto Area. I had one C in freshman Geometry but the rest are high B's and A's Thanks Guys. </p>

<p>Wouldn't you be a National AP Scholar w/ that list of scores? Funky class rank for such a high GPA. </p>

<p>Chances? You're certainly in there. Could go either way depending on your essays and what they're looking for to make a "well-rounded" class. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but OOS doesn't make a difference either way.</p>

<p>Woah, I'm kind of in the same boat as you. My unweighted GPA is like 3.9ish with the most rigorous courseload and yet my rank is like 23/500ish. I'm still top 5% but it sucks having such a "low" rank and I feel like it might hurt my app.</p>

<p>Very unlikely that you would get an offer of acceptance but what the heck - Stanford will take your $75. (If you GPA was 3.95 then you would indeed have a chance.)</p>

<p>you look competitive. And it does not matter if you are in- or out-of state.</p>

<p>you need to take at least two subject tests. Stanford "strongly recommends them" regardless of whether or not you take the ACT or SAT.</p>
