hey gujugeek.

well... I guess i would say i'm in a different boat....but still a similar one...I'm deciding between usc bach/md with the trustee and an engineering research stipend and acceptance into their engineering honors program vs. mit...and I guess i'll just ask what you got of the feel of the academic setting and the motivation of the students when you visited to interview, and what would u suggest? I think i want to do an engineering major with a business minor and mit is top in both those areas, but i'm not positive about medicine, yet!

btw...did u even consider upitt or bu's med program?

westcoastlove: yeah, they called/emailed on friday, i think, but i haven't gotten an actual letter yet. Good luck!

senior0007: Hmm...the academic setting is definitely not intense as other schools. It's as laid back as you want to make it, or it can be as intense as you want to make it. I got into BU's, but USC/Northwestern were better choices for me. There's nothing wrong with doing a program even if you're not sure. It's very easy to pursue something else in these programs, and if you decide you like that more...do that. If you still want to do medicine, at least you still have the guranteed seat!

meadle24390: NICE!
