<p>i slacked both freshman and soph years because of my focus on sports, then i quit sports and focused on academics, and well...see the difference.
anyways what are my chances...</p>

<p>o yea and did a summer program in france (at this french university) and got a bunch of french college credit along with the credit ive gotten from the aps in french and some college french courses i took, thus im like only a few credits away from a french major...</p>

<p>and also did a summer program with the Academy of Art in SF. studied art there for 6 weeks (graphic design and such..)</p>

<p>You do realize that uchicago is not a public school and that it doesn't matter if you are in state or not, right?</p>

<p>hahah, sorry this is kinda a generic post i put up for the schools i was interested in.. anyways can any one give me their opinion?</p>

<p>Your GPA is on an upward trend, which is good. Your coursework is also fairly demanding, even if it isn't the absolute hardest, and your art involvement is sure awesome.</p>

<p>In short, I wouldn't place you too far ahead of or behind your average applicant. Write good essays!</p>
