<p>Both OA and CA sound really cool to me, and I don't know which one to choose! Can anyone who's done OA or CA share some of their experiences and advice?</p>
<p>If both sound really cool to you, I’d definitely recommend doing OA. It’s a much bigger program, so when you come back, you’ll have something to talk about with most of your fellow freshmen (for the first week, OA is one of the main points of conversation). It’s a lot of fun (lots of OA games and traditions), and I think a backpacking trip is something everyone should do once (most people just do a straight backpacking trip, although they have other things). You get to be really close with all the people in your trip. Although almost two years later, I’m only friends with one person from OA, a lot of my friends became friends because of OA (i.e. one of my best friends now was on OA with my roommate, a bunch of my current friends were on OA with one friend who I knew before coming to college, etc).</p>
