My DD is weighing pros and cons of several wonderful schools. One topic we were wondering about is how students have fun at Columbia. Of course we know NYC has fantastic restaurants, concerts, lectures, night life, and of course we know that like any college there will be parties to attend, or not. Obviously I know it’s an urban campus, and I daresay students are studying most of the time, but can anyone talk about whether students have any opportunities for outdoor activities, like snowball fights, sledding in the winter (in Central Park?) and biking in warmer weather? or are these pretty much nonexistent? Thank you very much.
