Outdoorsy schools good in math/statistics?

The average test scores seem to be significantly lower at USAF. So I’d say CC is more selective, but yes, Air Force would be the most likely contender in a state that does not have too many very selective schools.

From noimagination’s list, UC Boulder definitely is one of the best “outdoorsy” picks and is in a generally fun location. So it might make a good safety if money does not rule it out for that role (look at OOS costs and scholarship prospects). Among the more selective schools on that list, not too many jump out as super outdoorsy. Maybe Hamilton College. Or how about the Claremonts (Mudd, Pomona)?
