Outgoing seniors, are you satisfied with the way things went?

I'm really happy. :) Initially, after getting my acceptances, I thought I wanted the whole ivy-league prestige thing, but after visiting Duke, I realized that I'd rather have a great college atmosphere with a balance of work and fun... So I had the pleasure to REJECT some very excellent schools. I think that's the best part, sending that letter that says: "Sorry, but no thanks!"

I'm going to Berkeley also, which was my first choice. By decision was pretty easy though since cal was my first and ucla was my second but I didn't get into ucla lol. I kinda regret not applying to any other high ranked school just as an experiment to see if I can get in.

I'm really happy about how it turned out.
I wish I'd researched colleges more in the fall and decided where I really want to go, but missing Yale for Princeton is hardly a loss.

"I think that's the best part, sending that letter that says: "Sorry, but no thanks!""

I actually think this is one of the worst parts...I felt so terrible sending in those postcards to Brown and Swarthmore...

NO, I think that there is a problem with Michigan's admissions department for waitlisting an applicant like me.

And I applied to too many "match" schools when in all reality, I wasn't going to attend any of them, because I liked my safeties better. I just wanted the "well rounded list" instead of actually applying to schools I wanted to go to.

I'm not satisfied the way things went but I can try again later :/.

Very happy. I was deferred/rejected from Yale (1rst choice), but accepted to a whole exciting slew of other great schools. I definitely applied to too many schools that I wouldn't want to go, but better safe than sorry. I waited until last minute to decide on Dartmouth, but I love it!

Absolutely.
