Outside scholarships for international students

Hi! I want to ask you if you have any information about the outside scholarships for international students. I am from Georgia(country) and have enrolled to Brandeis University. I have a Wien international scholarship at my university, but still have to pay the part of money. So, I want to apply to any outside scholarship available. Please do tell me if there are some you have information about. I have tried scholarshipexpress and it's useless..
Thank you in advance.

You may need to look in your home country for scholarships because there aren’t many here for int’l students.

How did you get your visa without showing that you have all the funding to go to school here?

Actually, my family has exactly the amount of money that I need, however, paying for my college will make them spend all of the income. So, I am in a need of support, so that my family does not face financial hardship because of this issue.

You can’t afford Brandeis. You need to find a college or university that is less expensive. You may need to study in your own country.

oh, thanks for the encouragement :)) I have a full Wien scholarship, I have already enrolled

Sleg…

Your posts are confusing.

On one hand you say that paying for college requires all of your parents’ money. On the other hand you say that you have a full scholarship.

???

sorry, I meant that the full need for me still requires me to pay 10,000 a year, what is all of the money left to my family after expenses. If they pay the whole amount, then they will have nothing left for the savings and it might also affect their condition, because the economics of my country is unstable and there are frequent price rises, what causes the expenses to increase.

Knowing nothing about this until I researched based on your posts, from what I can see the Wien Scholarship is a partial or full tuition international scholarship awarded by Brandeis, but the issue is you are now left with your room and board, travel, books and other incidental expences. The Brandeis calculator shows those amounts to be more than the $10,000 you mentioned in your post (more like 15k when it is all added up) and also the Brandeis website states that they are committed to meeting 100% of demonstrated need for all admitted internationals.

It’s incredibly hard to find outside scholarships, especially at this late date, especially for internationals. I would suggest contacting the Brandeis financial aid department and asking if they can offer you more aid. If they cannot, you might want to see if you can defer your admission for a year while you work to set aside funds and/or try to find outside sources for additional money.

If after expenses, your parents have $10k per year which is what you need for college, then how much can you earn working over the summer? Also, can you ask Brandeis if there are any jobs that int’ls can work on campus during the school year (contact their int’l office and ask).
