i heard that college apps take a hell of a long time to complete. Im prolly gonna try to apply early to UVA tho

I will post a response to ebonytear when I get the chance. You are very good at counterarguments. Are you in a debate class or something?

Just one thought to keep in mind though: If the SAT's were so over-rated, why would most colleges still use them in the admissions process? They could scrap it altogether if it were so over-rated, either switching to the ACT or not using a standardized test at all. The fact of the matter is colleges still use it, so it is not over-rated yet.

What i actually mean by over-rated was that there is too much emphasis on the SAT. Like i dont see that emphasis on the ACT?? I didnt even know that there was an ACT until freshman year?!?

they can't just STOP using the SAT for admissions...too many people will be furious...that's kind of like arguing, if smoking were so bad for your health, why doesn't everyone just quit?

I dunno how many times I have to say this; you can be stupid and do well on the SAT, but if you do poorly on the SAT, you're an idiot. It is just the preliminary examination that separates the intelligent students from the stupid ones.

im not quite following your argument poog?
