Hello,
I am 27 years old. 7 years ago to arrived to US with F1 visa. But my family had some really bad time and could not afford me to study at that point.
I was confused, did know what I should do, so I kept staying in US and did some jobs here and there, wherever hire me. I save some money and also, after all those years (that I consider was gap years), now I know exactly what I want to do with my career.
I want to pursuit CFA and I really like the Finance program at Penn State World Campus. But the tuition is 555/ unit. So I plan to apply to other cheaper institution for GE courses before transfer to World Campus. Thats my plan.
I am currently in UoPeople for now but I already asked Penn State WC and they said they only take credit from regional accredited school so thats why I am looking for one now. (UoPeople is national accredited)
I am currently live in California. I have TOEFL ibt 80, high school transcript from my country (already translate to english), ITIN (I pay tax), and financial sponsor (my uncle - if the institution need me to have one). I only want to enroll in a 100% online degree but I contacted so many college and universities, some already denied me. I am waiting from other schools. Schools that denied me said that they cannot admit a student who had sponsor F1 visa from other institution.
I just feel so desperate, how come the system make way to school is that hard. Everybody should have the right for study. I cannot just rely on time and wait until I become permanent citizen, I think if you really want something, especially if it was a good thing, there should be a way to get there.
If any of you have any idea or experience, please share with me. I would appreciate everything.
