I am a high school senior and I was wondering if this is too much to balance.
4 AP classes, 2 honors classes, Spanish Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, History Club, SNAP, Varsity Soccer, and a Part-time job?
Are you a straight A student? If so, then carry on (but you might reconsider the part time job). If not, then you have already found your limits. Only you know the answer.
If the OP is a straight A student, why do they need to reconsider the part time job?
I am an A, B student. Plus I take my classes online and they are accessible 24 hours a day. Why should I not have the part-time job?
I think you’re fine. This sort of thing depends person to person- and you can say a lot more for your abilities than some strangers on the internet.
It depends- do YOU think it’s too much? If you can handle it, then you’re golden.
Yea I thik im fine, I just dont know if that looks like im trying to hard to impress colleges.
That’s all normal stuff. Unless it’s blatant I don’t see colleges disliking an application because they’re “trying hard.” The way the results turn out at the end usually end up favoring those that try hard to get into college anyway. Besides that, you’re fine.
