Overnights

Your opinion please- especially people who are already in college if any of you happen to be reading this.

I was somewhat lazy when it came to initially visiting colleges and I have not visited two of the final four colleges I'm trying to narrow down. Is it worth overnighting at both of them as well as the other two? (I'm somewhat concerned about the amount of school I'm going to be missing. I know college is important but catching up is going to suck.)
Is there a huge difference between an overnight visit and a day trip? How much can an overnight swing a decision?

OVERNIGHT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!

i'm a first year student at UVA, and i can tell you that staying overnight is VASTLY different from attending information session/Ground tour...etc.

the ONLY way to get the know the student body/find out if you like the student body is to stay overnight. try to stay overnight on a friday, so you will know what people do for night life as well.

missing a few days of classes for the saking of choosing the best fit school is worth it. you'll regret if you end up in a school that you don't like.

Thanks ever so much!
