So How Important Is Overnight?

just wondering and trying to get some inputs??

do you think overnight's a must??
or i can feel enough of Duke in a daytime (and planned seminar and programs?)

thanks in advance.

Well, staying overnight is your best opportunity to see what Duke students are really like, and if you're interested in experiencing a bit of our "night life," it's really your only option. But honestly, I never stayed overnight and it didn't matter to me. It all depends on what you're trying to figure out. If all you want to do is see if you like the campus, attend a class or two, feel the atmosphere, an overnight probably won't matter too much. But if you're concerned about what student life is like beyond the couple hours that they're in classes during the day for a more complete picture, an overnight might be beneficial. Just remember that if you do stay with a student, their life isn't going to be exactly like yours will be next year; you can shape your own social/academic life, so don't freak out if the person isn't like you.
