Oxford University vs. Columbia/Sciences PO Dual BA

I was accepted to both of these programs for this admissions cycle and I’m having difficulty trying to decide between which to pick.

I was accepted into Philosophy, Politics, Economics (PPE) at Oxford. All Oxford degrees are three years

The dual BA program is two years at Sciences PO in France and two years in New York at Columbia. I would get a degree from both institutions.

In terms of ranking, Oxford is ranked above in both politics and economics (the two things I’m interested in). It’s second for politics and international relations, while Sciences PO is just behind it at third. For economics, Oxford is 9th while Columbia is 11th.

Both programs accomplish my dream of being able to study and experience a difference country for a few years which is why I’m having trouble picking a clear one to go with.

I would be studying at Menton in France (on the southern coast, close to Nice).

Things that don’t matter too much to me: Cost

Things that do matter: International prestige, proximity to a large city, how good the education is (one-on-one time w/ professors appreciated), Job placement

Is there a clear winner here?

IMO, yes. You would have 2-1 tutorials at Oxford.
Oxford PPE pumps out a disproportionate (by far) amount of British political elites.
The Sciences Po program is in Columbia GS.
I’ve heard Science Po instruction standards are below what students at American Ivies/equivalents are use to.

How much research have you done on these programs? What do you know about them?

What type of job placement where?
