ok, so here's the deal, for the most part i want to stay in state. (PA) since i have a tuition account program. I'm applying to a few schools for biology. which i will need a masters degree in then, since there aren't many good jobs for bio w/o a masters. im thinking i should go for as cheap as possible for my undergrad and then try for a prestige school for my masters. does that sound like a good plan? anyone have suggestions?

I have a 3.45 UWGPA not sure about my weighted... last time i checked i think it was at least a 5.0, at my school anyway. i got 1130 on the sats M530 CR600. I hate the SATs but i'm taking them again in october and reading "up your score"

here's where im thinking:
Safties: Elizabethtown, temple, westchester

Matches: Penn State, Pitt, F&M, millersville

Reaches: NYU, Swarthmore, Carnegie Mellon

I'm obviously not going to apply to all of these colleges. lately i've been leaning towards penn state and millersville. frankly i'm thinking about not even applying to my reaches because they're so expensive. anyone familliar with these colleges, and want to give me advice? just in general?
